Bitch Baby Bakery is the love child of boredom and the gentle nudging of local friends. It is a hobby turned cottage industry business on a local scale. B3 is small, it is all made by hand, and is limited by oven space and time. If you enjoy it as much as I hope you will just know that the baker also teaches pilates, and together we can counteract all the bread and biscuit eating.
Why the name Bitch Baby? All sourdough bread requires a mother. We lovingly call our mother "the bitch". It is an hommage to Anthony Bourdain and his first book If you know you know. It is not meant to be controversial or rude. Also, learning to make bread started in Brooklyn, so it fits.
